Hi everyone! My name is Ali Huntoon, and I am thrilled to be participating in the Giving Tuesday Peer-to-Peer Fundraiser to support the Humane Society of Midland County. As a proud dog mom to Baxter, my 12-year-old rescue pup who has been my best friend for over a decade, this cause is close to my heart.
Baxter’s story started at a shelter, much like the amazing one we have here in Midland County. Thanks to the love and care he received, he was given a second chance at life—and he’s been bringing joy to mine ever since. This is why I am so passionate about fostering and rescuing animals in need.
What makes the Humane Society of Midland County so special is their commitment to being a no-kill shelter. They work tirelessly to ensure every dog gets a chance at a happy ending. But the work they do is not possible without community support.
This Giving Tuesday, I’m raising funds for something that will truly change the lives of the shelter dogs: outdoor play equipment. These outdoor spaces provide more than just fresh air and exercise—they give the dogs a break from the stress of kennel life, moments to feel joy, and the opportunity to feel like the cherished companions they are meant to be.
Every dollar you give, no matter the size, directly impacts these dogs. Together, we can help give them the physical and emotional care they need while they wait for their forever homes.
Please join me in making a difference for these wonderful dogs. Let’s show them the love they deserve!
Thank you for your kindness and support,
Ali & Baxter 🐾
