Cans for a Cause: Every Can Helps a Paw!
Turn Your Cans Into Care for Shelter Pets!
From now until the end of the year, we’re inviting the community to join our "Cans for a Cause" initiative to support the Humane Society of Midland County! Whether you're an individual, family, or local business, you can make a difference for animals in need by donating your returnable cans and bottles.
How It Works:
- Collect Your Returnable Cans & Bottles – Gather up your returnables from your home, office, or community events!
- Drop Off or Donate the Cash – Bring them to the Humane Society, and our amazing volunteers will return them for cash. OR, you can turn them in yourself and donate the funds directly to our shelter!
- Support Local Animals – Every can and bottle helps provide food, medical care, and a safe place for our animals while they wait for their forever homes.
Goal:
Help us raise $5,000 by the end of 2024 to provide extra support for our shelter this holiday season!
Get Involved:
- Businesses: Host a collection bin at your location and encourage employees and customers to donate their returnables!
- Families & Friends: Turn this into a fun activity to support local pets—set a goal and see how much you can collect by the end of the year!
Share Your Impact:
Take photos of your collections, tag us on social media with #CansForPaws, and help spread the word! Every donation, no matter how small, adds up to make a big difference.
